Aromo Rose / Syrah Chile NV
Since 1922 and through generations of winemakers Viña El Aromo has gained experience and knowledge in the production of fine wines. This wine comes from our own vineyards located in the southern part of the Maule Valley where grapes ripen slowly, reaching their maximum expression
Tasting Notes
Color: Intense bright pink.
Nose: Aromas of strawberry and any citric tones.
Palate: Fresh and intense fruit. Lightly sweetness and very good acidity.
Alcohol: 13%
Vineyards, Vinification & Aging
Yield: 15.500 – 16.000 kg/ha.
Harvest Date: Last week of March to first week of April.
Alcoholic Fermentation: The must is separated to the skin and the A.F. started when the selected yeast are added. The temperature of fermentation is 14ºC to 16ºC.
Pre-fermentation Maceration: The skin contact is kept to 9 - 10° during 3 to 6 hours, depending on extracted color and aromatic components.
Fermentation Time: 18 to 23 days
Tartrate Stabilization: The wine was kept at –4ºC (24,8°F) for 5 days.

Origin
In 1922, French company Estansan & Co., realizing the enormous potential of the Maule Valley in terms of its location, soils and exceptional climate for the cultivation of vinifera vines, founds Vina Aromo.
In 1936 Don Victor Henriquez Solar decides to venture into the elaboration of fine wines and acquires the rights for Estansan & Co’s winery, merging it with the extensive vineyards he inherited from his ancestors.
