A fabulous value from Bordeaux! There's a lot going on here, including copious red and blackberry fruit aromas alongside hits of vanilla subtle wood spice. This is really well-balanced with lingering black fruits caressing the palate. The tannins are smooth and inviting, making for a rewarding drinking experience.

A dense wine with great fruit, this has a velvet texture and great elegance. There is structure of course from the firm tannins that stay in the background, while the main thrust of this wine is its great blackberry fruit.

Château Réal is operated by the owner of Château Serilhan, Didier Marcelis. It is the last chateau belonging to the Tronquoy family, former owner of Châteaux Montrose and Tronquoy Lalande. The wine is vinified by Hubert De Boüard, current owner of Château Angélus.
