Grassy paths crisscross a valley at the entrance to the woods where light reflects in the droplets of dew and where healthy roots give life to lush vines. A silent world as rugged and hot as the karstic rocks and the red earth, where the scenery evokes memories of far away times, serene thoughts. The Caneva vines grow on the soft rolling hills near the Consiglio woods, embraced by a natural amphitheatre, protected by the mountains and caressed by soft winds.

Le Favole
Tenute Cadorin
In the foothills of Pordenone, in the hills to the north of the town of Caneva, the Le Favole winery is nestled in karst rock surrounded by vineyards.
A natural amphitheatre of rolling hills in a small and cozy valley, protected from the cold northern winds of the Cansiglio plateau, where we combine modern wine making methods with its ageing process in barrels.
Bosco Bando Vineyards
Carefully selected vineyards with low yields per hectare give life to a collection of absolute quality, born from the patience of those who show great dedication to wine, without haste, as if it were a daily, sacred ritual in pursuit of excellence.
The wines of the Le Favole estate, in fact, preserve the essence of Friuli Venezia Giulia, all these unique and typical scents of an exclusive area where the particular climate, karst rock on one side and proximity to the sea on the other, create a magical meeting of sensations to savour, deep emotions to surrender to.
Emotions laden with memories and impressions evoked by the place of origin of the two Cadorin families, deeply linked to Caneva, the place where they live and work with great dedication. Here, contact with nature and with the vineyards is a natural daily occurrence and the plants are treated with extreme care throughout the year.
During the harvest, many people are needed because it's done by hand and when processing the valuable raw material, every action is repeated meticulously, combining tradition with new technologies in pursuit of the highest quality.
The choice of grape varieties best suited to the terrain, meticulous processing at the vineyard and correct wine making techniques allow the company to produce refined white sparkling wines (Giallo di Roccia and Prosecco Brut) with intense aromas (Friulano, Pinot Gris, Gewürztraminer, Malvasia and Sauvignon Blanc), well-structured reds with a pleasant taste (Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Refosco) and meditation wines that fascinate the senses (Magia, Verduzzo). The collection is completed by three precious reserves (Storiis, Noglâr and Cretis), three flagships that stand out for their exclusive hues and their heady bouquet that offer great structure in a glass.
A good 60 hectares, between the sea and the rolling hills close to the forest of Cansiglio, offer rare, precious wines to Cadorin, thanks to 20 hectares for vine cultivations and the rest for olive trees, with patches of grain cultivation and forests of acacias, oak, chestnut, hornbeam and hazel.
Castello Vineyards
Grassy paths crisscross a valley at the entrance to the woods where light reflects in the droplets of dew and where healthy roots give life to lush vines. A silent world as rugged and hot as the karstic rocks and the red earth, where the scenery evokes memories of far away times, serene thoughts. The Caneva vines grow on the soft rolling hills near the Consiglio woods, embraced by a natural amphitheatre, protected by the mountains and caressed by soft winds.
The winery, built with ancient stones, is safely nestled at the feet of the ancient Caneva Castle, a fortress which dates to the High Middle Ages. A tiny church dedicated to Santa Lucia sits timidly beside it.
It is here, in this place where light coloured pebbles and scarlet clods of earth act as backdrop, that the art of winemaking flourishes and bunches of perfectly ripened grapes become splendid wine to taste, full of intense aroma and heady perfumes. The same aroma and intense perfume that only expert and patient hands know how to capture and jealously conserve, harvest after harvest, to then pour for the enjoyment of those who know how to appreciate them.
The rhythm of man’s work melds into the rhythm of nature, a nature which expresses all of its splendour in its soft green rotundity and cool meandering waters.
A harmonious checkerboard of nature reigns here: woods, ploughed fields and vineyards flow into one another as far as the eye can see.
