In the very heart of the Navarrese countryside stands Hacienda Logos, a traditional style winery that seeks to return to the historical origins of wine. It is the cradle of Logos wines, plot wines made only from grapes grown on the estate surrounding the winery and which represent the purity of the vineyard. Grapes grown under the powerful influence of the Moncayo, which gives them a unique personality.

The result of a long journey
The story of a family written by the vineyard and the olive grove.
A journey guided by the passion for wine, olive oil and the desire to achieve new goals.
We are farmers, winegrowers and oenologists. A family marked by the values of tradition, respect for nature and commitment to quality, teachings passed down from father to son. Our goal: to offer you wines, cavas, vermouths and oils that are perfect for any occasion.
Bodegas Escudero
As you can well imagine, the journey has been challenging, but we don’t give up. Because it is worth it. Because we feel deeply about what we do. Because we have been taught from an early age that wine is much more than it seems. It is not just a beverage. It is culture. It is art. It is the fruit of the union between man and nature. It is the result of constant effort and dedication over the years. But above all, we dedicate our lives to wine because it is our history, because our great-grandfather, grandfather and father lovingly tended the same vineyards that we cultivate today and drank wine from the same vines. A special bond that unites our family throughout history makes us passionately love the countryside and wine, and motivates us to try to do better and better.
Tradition and innovation blend perfectly with the pillars of our philosophy: Effort, Perseverance and Respect. A legacy that evolves without losing its essence.
Many, many years ago, in the small village of Grávalos, our great-grandfather Juan first started making wine in a small cave dug out of the mountain. Over time, his son Amador joined him and wine production increased, always motivated by the passion they both felt. Our father, Benito Escudero, was born in this home. From an early age, he saw how his father and grandfather worked tirelessly, cultivated the vineyard respecting nature and made wine with love and care.
A childhood that motivated Benito to study at the Requena School of Oenology and later at the Villafranca del Penedés School of Oenology with the aim of learning the latest in cultivation and winemaking techniques. His curiosity did not end there, Benito wanted to discover the secrets of the French cellars and set off on a journey that took him to discover the wine regions of Bordeaux and Champagne, where the ideas for his future projects were born.
In the 1950s Benito returned home with a clear objective. But fate had an unexpected setback in store for him. A motorbike accident almost put an end to his dreams, but he fought and managed to pull through. Life had given him a second chance and he was determined to make the most of it. He wanted to produce his own sparkling wine following the traditional method or Champenoise. So he tried it. Once. And again. And again. Until he succeeded. He had managed to make his own cava, being one of the first winemakers to form part of the D.O. Cava. He had finally achieved his dream, but the most important thing was missing, he had to share it with you. So he continued his efforts to ensure that his golden bubbles accompany you in all your celebrations.
We have inherited our father’s spirit. We have learned that we have to work hard to achieve what we want. We have grown up with the same passion for caring for the vineyard and respect for the production of wines, cavas, vermouths and olive oils. That is why we have decided to continue with the family project, keeping alive the legacy of our past and passing on to our children the same passion for wine that our father instilled in us. A spirit that makes us strive every day to be better and produce products that surprise you, that make you enjoy.
At the moment, we count with 4 wineries: Bodegas Escudero (Grávalos) dedicated to the elaboration of Cavas, Bodegas Vinsacro (Pradejón) where the D.O.Ca. Rioja, Hacienda Logos (Castejón) and Bodegas Escudero (Monteagudo), the latter two belonging to the D.O. Navarra. These facilities allow us to produce a wide range of products to satisfy all palates. We want to be close to you wherever you are, so you can enjoy our products in more than 38 countries around the world.
