Segura Viudas Description
Reserva Heredad is an elegant and impressive cava, offering versatility, grace and refinement. Made from only the first pressing of the highest quality base wines from each vintage, the cava is aged on the lees, in-bottle, for over 30 months. A hand-crafted luxury, the aging process is completed by our expert winemakers with the last poignettage, or shake of the wrist, which intensifies the contact of the lees with the wine, bringing out more complex aromas.
Straw yellow in color, with a small, fine, and plentiful mousse. The opening aromas are yeasty from aging on lees, lightly smoky, with hints of brioche, followed by touches of honey, fruit and flower petals. The palate is excellent, fruity and full of flavor, with dried fruits from the lees aging. Very elegant, giving the drinker a delightful sense of abundance.

Fresh, clean apple and white-peach aromas are good but not overly expressive or complex. This feels fresh and lifted, with minerally, stony flavors of apple and lime. A clean, pointed finish feels nice and tastes like lettuce and bitter greens.
