Quinta Vale D. Maria Reserva Porto Lote #16 is 100% produced with Porto Wines from the 2014 vintage. This Porto shows a great structure with intense fruit character and soft ripe tannins. It is specifically blended to age in bottle for many years to come but it can be thoroughly enjoyed now.

From our own vineyard Quinta Vale D. Maria, located in the far hills of the Douro, this Porto was bottled as our personal reserve. Issued from wines that were vinified foot trodden in old granit stone “lagares” and aged in old wooden vats, this “Reserve” is bottled once every year on the date shown on the label.

This Porto shows a great structure with intense fruit character and soft ripe tannins. It is specifically blended to age in bottle for many years to come but it can be thoroughly enjoyed now.

Cristiano is the communicator par excellence and a very welcome guest at festivals, presentations and events. His Quinta Vale Dona Maria in Rio Torto is a veritable jewel, planted to a myriad of traditional grape varieties, grown on extremely steep hillsides. Together with his wife Joana, he has painstakingly renovated the vineyards of the quinta, and carefully restored the buildings. And although Quinta Vale Dona Maria is the smallest estate in the Douro, their wines can be found in the best restaurants and wine-bars all over the world.
